Use GO Mobile on your iPhone and iPad to easily search, discover and access geospatial content and other location-based information through secure wireless communications to the cloud. This App provides superior mapping visualization, fusion and awareness, including the ability to share, in real time, information and content among other GO Mobile users. Features * Your iPhone or iPad now acts as a sensor platform - aggregating data from built-in sensors like GPS, compass, camera and microphone and sharing this with other users. Gather and share mobile device information such as location, photos, video, and other data in real-time. * Discover, manage and visualize geospatial data and services from disparate sources. * Track and locate other members in your group using GO Mobile. Groups could include Emergency Response, Police, Fire Fighters, Family Members, Friends, etc. * Build a comprehensive map view utilizing many map layers such as OpenStreetMap, Apple Maps or any standards-based Web Map Service (WMS) layer(s). * Measure distances and annotate maps you have created and share these annotations with other users. * View the location and information from other GO Mobile users in real time, from a defined area of interest. * Capture and store a variety of information (videos, pictures, documents, text) directly on the map for sharing among other group members. * Create and access the unique portfolio system for organizing information and services relevant to a particular event or location. * Broadcast messages to other GO Mobile users with enhanced messaging capability built into GO Mobile. * Overlay other information and services such as weather, maps, imagery or data, to build a more comprehensive, coordinated view. * Enhance location awareness by accessing data, rapidly changing information and alerts in a real-time environment. The Compusult GO Mobile App is also a standards-based component of Web Enterprise Suite (WES), a geospatial data management infrastructure tool that supports the discovery, delivery, visualization and management of data from multiple sources into a single, integrated environment. Officials working in areas such as Environmental / Emergency Management or Homeland Security can now discover, access and share geospatial data from their mobile devices. While in the field, First Responders can use GO Mobile for sharing location-based information and content among other GO Mobile users and associated officials back at a central office. These users, through a Web browser, can then use other WES components to visualize and combine GO Mobile information and content with other information and content from remote systems. GO Mobile supports organizations that require immediate, secure and reliable access to geospatial information for decision making purposes. It not only provides users with the option of sharing information with others through the mobile device, but GO Mobile, integrated into the WES infrastructure, also enables officials or administrators the ability to create dedicated portfolios and user groups based on a particular event, with the portfolio's Area of Interest (AOI) focused on the actual area of concern. Data can be stored within the portfolio, allowing users to manage and organize information for enhanced decision making. In addition, members are aware of other users locations, can track historical events and can communicate through media sharing. With GO Mobile, a user's iPhone or iPad can become a "Sensor", capturing and sharing data such as the device location, pictures, videos, audio and other situational information such as conditions and events. Background location gathering: Please note that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
